Lotte World Mall & Seokchon Lake in Jamsil, Korea - Places to visit when you stay in Signiel Seoul

 

As you know, we have shown "Signiel Seoul" which is in Lotte World Tower (a landmark building in Jamsil, Korea), on our previous posting (See below link for people who did not see our previous posting).

So we are going to show you "Lotte World Mall (롯데월드몰 in Korean)" and "Seokchon Lake (석촌호수 in Korean)" which are nearly located to Signiel Seoul. You can spend your time shopping in the mall and walking around the lake while you are staying at Signiel Hotel. 

 

 

Lotte World Mall is a shopping complex opened in 2014 and is connected with Lotte World Tower by an underground plaza.

 

In Lotte World Mall, there are Lotte Mart, Hi-Mart, Lotte World Aquarium, Lotte Cinema and Lotte Concert Hall. Lotte mart is a hypermarket and Hi-mart is home appliance and electronics store. In Lotte aquarium, you can see more than 55,000 marine animals, containing 13 theme zones. There is a large screen in Lotte cinema, representing the largest cinema in Asia and there are 2,036 seats in Lotte concert hall. Also, there is a department store (Avenuel) and a duty free shop (Lotte Duty Free) in the building. 

 

You can find the latest trend fashion and high-end lifestyle in Lotte World Mall. Additionally, there are seafood buffets, food courts and restaurants for people to enjoy their meal at the mall. 

 

You can also find Global SPA brands such as COS, H&M, H&M Home, Uniqlo, Zara, GAP, Massimo Dutti, Mango, Hollister, and 8 Seconds.

 

In Lotte World Mall, there is a large bookstore called "Arc N Book (아크앤북) in Korean". This place was previously Bandi and Lunis which is another bookstore but is replaced by a new bookstore, Arc N Book.

 

This bookstore has a concept of a place for a book and coffee and is becoming more popular among people in Korea. You can find various kinds of books and stationery items in the bookstore. Visitors can spend their time finding and reading books, drinking coffee and looking for interesting stationery items at Arc N Book.

 

 

Lotte World Mall is a perfect shopping complex for visitors and Seokchon Lake is another great place for travelers in Korea. It is a perfect place for jogging and strolling. You can also visit here to feel the changing seasons at Seokchon Lake. Many people generally visit Seokchon Lake in spring to enjoy the cherry blossoms. There is a cherry blossom festival in April. 

 

 

As we previously introduced Signiel Seoul, which is a landmark hotel in Korea, Lotte World Mall and Seokchon Lake will be other places for you to visit when you are staying in Signiel Seoul. Although you are not staying at Signiel, you might visit Lotte World Mall for shopping and Seokchon lake for strolling as these places are famous tour sites in Korea.
