Many individuals, brands and organizations are participating in #Blackouttuesday movement in response to George Floyd's death. Blackout Tuesday is a collective action by posting black square images on their instagram to protest racism and police conduct.

Top 3 music record industry group (Warner Records, Sony Music and Universal Music) also participated in Blackout Tuesday Movement and Black Lives Matter movements are also actively participated by many celebrities. Apple Music, Spotify and YouTube have also joined in the movement. International celebrities including Taylor Swift, Rihanna and Bruno Mars have also participated in this movement.

This movement has spread on social media and many Korean celebrities including Rain, Taeyang, Tiffany Young, Jessica, Amber, Eric Nam, Henry, Hash Swan, Tiger JK, Hyun-A, NS Yoonji, PSY, Daniel Henney, Bae Doo-na and Soohyun also have joined in this movement by posting black square impages on their SNS with hashtag of 'blackouttuesday'.
