According to Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, there are 1,037 imported cases from the total infection cases that account for 9.7 percent and 91.4 percent of the imported cases are local residents.
The number of new Coronavirus infection cases were below 30 from 13th to 17th of April and it began to fell below 20 as there were 18 infection cases on 18th, 8 cases on 19th, 13 cases on 20th, 9 cases on 21st, 11 cases on 22nd, 8 cases on 23rd, 6 cases on 24th and 10 cases on 25th.
From 10 new confirmed infection cases on Sunday, 9 cases are confirmed as imported cases. 6 cases are the imported cases that are found in Gyeonggi province and 1 case is confirmed each in Busan, North Jeoll province and at airport quarantine checkpoint, respectively. Additionally, 1 case is also confirmed in Daegu which is not classified as imported cases and confirmed locally.
82 people are newly released from isolation from full recovery from the previous day, bringing the total number of 8,717 people who are fully recovered as of Sunday. 2 more people died since Thursday as there were no new deaths on Friday and Saturday and the death toll rose to 242.
The recovery rate is 81.3 percent as of Sunday. Currently, there are 1,769 people who are in isolation for Coronavirus treatment.
The fatality rate is 2.25 percent. The fatality rate of male patients are 2.93 percent which is higher than the rate of female patients which are 1.80 percent. The fatality rate of people in their age of 80s are 23.71 percent, people in their age of 70s are 10.17 percent, people in their age of 60s are 2.60 percent, people in their age of 50s are 0.77 percent, people in their age of 40s are 0.21 precent and people in their age of 30s are 0.17 percent.
So far, 598,285 people are tested for Coronavirus and 8,999 people are still in process of Coronavirus testing. 578,558 people are confirmed as negative from the Coronavirus testing.
