There are several kinds of yummy street food in South Korea.

 

"Hotteok (호떡 in Korean)" is one of the most popular street snack in Korea. It is known as a Korean sweet pancake that can be normally found on the streets. It is more popular in winter so when you travel in winter season you can easily find Hotteok street vendors (You can still find some street stands for Hotteok in other seasons too). You may be able to see this hotteok on the street at popular spots in Korea such as Myeongdong, Insadong and even in Busan. 

 

Hotteok is made of dough with flour, yeast, milk and sugar and the dough is filled with brown sugar, nuts, cinnamon and honey.

 

The dough is normally fried on a hot pan with a little oil and then filled with syrup consisting of brown sugar, honey, cinnamon and chopped nuts.
